Few briefs push the boundaries of creativity quite like being asked to take a running shoe to space. As design lead on Goodbye Gravity, a global collaboration between adidas Running and the International Space Station, we built a visual world around one of the most audacious product stories in sneaker history. The campaign centered on the Ultraboost's revolutionary midsole technology, drawing a direct parallel between the shoe's zero-gravity-like cushioning and the weightlessness of life aboard the ISS. The result was a campaign as bold as the collaboration itself, reaching audiences across the globe and cementing the Ultraboost as a cultural moment, not just a performance shoe.
